Club de Golf Javea is situated on the Benitachell-Javea road,
5 minutes drive from the Arenal Beach Javea. Sheltered from the wind by Cape
San Antonio, the course has a perfect microclimate all the year round, and is
located in a wonderful natural setting, surrounded by pinewoods.
|
|
The round is very attractive, with gentle slopes, excellently
maintained greens, and wide fairways flanked by pine trees and orange trees. It
is a 9-hole round but although it is not very long it is certainly difficult,
as it is plagued by bunkers nearly all the way along - 34 in total.

Located on the slopes of a mountain, the La Sella Golf Club
is not a particularly tiring course. It lies next to Montgó natural park, and
is surrounded by Mediterranean woodland and hills. Pine trees, orange trees,
olives and almonds add colour to the course and, although they are pretty to
look at, will cause big problems for less accurate players.
|
|
The course has 18 holes and a par of 72. It is varied and
thought provoking, and moderate in length and, if you know how to use all of
your clubs, you will be able to get a good result. The design of the courses
means it is suitable for players of all levels, with the difficulty apparent at
the tees. The designer, with the expert help of José María Olazábal, designed
the course in such a way that if you miss the green, you will need all the
virtuosity of the Spanish Champion to save the par...

Campo de Golf Oliva Nova
46780 Oliva
Valencia

|
 |
The Oliva Nova golf course is one of the most recent
creations of Seve Ballesteros. It is on the southernmost point of the coastline
of Valencia and consists of an 18-hole course which is superbly maintained and
has an extremely varied layout, so you will find yourself playing a wide
variety of shots. There are great opportunities for players of all kinds as
there are short, medium and long holes.
|
|
The course has a par of 72 and is made up of four par-3’s,
four par-5’s and ten par-4’s running over gently undulating terrain which is
easy to walk round and is shaded by countless trees. It tends to take about
four hours to play. Water, with all of its attendant dangers, is a constant
feature of the course as it is present on all of the holes except the 2nd, 13th
and 14th, and there are 8 strategically located lakes. On the par-4 5th, if you
choose the right club and put some power into the shot you could reach the
green and get the eagle which all golfers dream about, or even the mythical
albatross. In short, it’s a course on which the right choice of club and
playing strategy is vital on every shot!!!!

The El Saler course is situated in the Albufera Nature Park
on the shores of the Mediterranean, just south of the city of Valencia . It is
laid out on terrain dotted with pine trees and sand dunes, with the las few
holes looking very much like a typical English course.
|
|
A links-style course, surrounded by dunes and pine woods.
The course is long and very demanding. The greens are very wide, with several
blind hazards and 90 bunkers. Considered to be one of the purest European-style
courses.
Access to the hole is relatively short and the rhythm of the game is slow.
